Alexander Zenchev

Lawyer in the Dispute Resolution and Bankruptcy Practice

Alexander holds the position of lawyer in the Dispute Resolution and Bankruptcy Practice at Savina Legal and represents clients in Russian arbitration and general jurisdiction courts.

Before joining the company, Alexander worked at the Federal Agency for State Reserves in the Central Federal District and X5 Group, as well as in a large construction holding.

In his professional practice, he has been involved in supporting disputes across various categories, including bankruptcy, licensing agreements, damages, unjust enrichment, supply of goods (including international), contracting, and many others. He also has experience in representation before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

Alexander holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. He also graduated with honors  from the master’s program “Legal Support of the Digital Economy” at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Successfully represented the interests of the largest federal retailer in a dispute with a supplier of foreign equipment regarding the recovery of an unearned advance payment while maintaining the currency clause.
Successfully defended the interests of the largest federal retailer in a case challenging an offset made before the counterparty’s bankruptcy.
Successfully defended the interests of a construction company in a dispute with a subcontractor regarding the recovery of the actual cost of the materials.
Successfully defended the interests of the landlord in a dispute over the return of the premises which transfer were released by a falsified acceptance certificate.
Successful protection of the interests of the largest federal retailer in disputes with suppliers.
