Stanislav Karandasov has joined SAVINA LEGAL as Partner and will develop the streamline relating to foreign litigation and international arbitration. International and Russian legal ratings, such as The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Pravo.ru-300 and Kommersant, recognise Stanislav and acclaim his extensive experience in these spheres.
Stanislav will deal with the matters of dispute resolution with a foreign element in Russian courts, bankruptcy proceedings, including cross-border bankruptcies, as well as proceedings relating to international sanctions.
Stanislav’s experience encompasses representation of the Russian Federation in a dispute arising out of the production sharing agreement under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, defending the subsidiary of Rosatom State-Owned Corporation in the international arbitration under the ICC Rules in a dispute arising out of the supply contract, advising a European insurance company in a dispute with reinsurance companies under the ICAC Rules.
Before joining SAVINA LEGAL, Stanislav worked for more than 10 years at major Russian law firms, such as Rybalkin Gortsunyan Dyakin & Partners and Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners.
Stanislav graduated from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia majoring in Law and Global Economics, and also has PhD in Economics. He completed the training course in International Commercial Arbitration at the University College of London and English Legal Methods programme at the Cambridge University.
